The Pocket Watch Fob
Updated: 2012-03-30 11:56:00
On the 1st February this year, I wrote on the subject of pocket watch chains and concluded;
“Adding a fob to the chain is an option, although for some the chain is enough of a decoration.”
Guess what? I went looking for a fob.
I think I have developed the Victorian disease for maximalism; for accessorising accessories. After [...]

Spring has most definitely sprung: though the trees are bare, the ladies legs are too.
It was 20 degrees at the weekend. People were lounging in the parks, seeking ice creams and shade. The snows of February seem impossible on such days. As undressed as Mother Nature still is, Spring’s Opening Party has already happened. However, [...]

Accessorizing with gold accent makes a white or beige women's business suit pop. A lot of women are pulling out their spring business outfits which usually consists of women's business suits in lighter colors. Accessorizing with a gold necklace is not what I'm talking about necessarily. I mean that you should search out accessories like, belts and purses that have gold details on them.
Richard James has been busy. Hot on the heels of his ‘Mayfair’ ready-to-wear collection for John Lewis comes another collaboration with a UK high-street giant. This time, Marks & Spencer (now re-branded, somewhat bizarrely, ‘Your M&S’) have invited the Row’s modernist tailor to sprinkle a little Savile magic on their notoriously dowdy menswear department.

“I’m the kind of guy who always wears navy jackets with pretty much everything. Now I have gotten a chocolate brown Zegna jacket and a mid grey DB from YSL. Could please advice me which colour and type of trousers to wear with those? I personally find it very hard.
Thanks a lot in advance!”

It really pains me to see so many people on the way to work nowadays with an open neck hirt. What happened? Forgot to finish dressing yourself this morning? And what pains me even more is that many of said people are in high powered roles within their organisations, or are customer facing. So what's happened? Where's the ie? nbsp;Maybe it's actually a case of changing attitudes towards the workplace. Maybe it's down to a lack of confidence. Lack of knowledge pe [...]

Everyone that knows me – or my methods – knows that the high street is my primary hunting ground. Though I love and appreciate tailoring and a number of high-end products, the fact of the matter is I am a lover of variety and novelty. Fully converting to bespoke clothing is a fantasy for someone [...]
