  • Grinding The Bottom Of Your Pots

    I haven't seen much information about this, but the clay body I use tends to have a lot of grog on the bottom leaving a rough foot (and lip sometimes)   had my husband grind a practice bowl smooth.  t worked except the grinder left the food of the bowl looking dirty. (the clay body is white)  What can be done to avoid this? is there another way? I read about using a sander on the bottom of porcelain but I don't know if also goes for cone 6 stoneware.
