  • Pottery Studio Floor Drain

    I'm building a studio with a cement floor (12 x 16 feet). I will be able to hose and squeegee the floor. What kind of drainage system is recommended and how should it be installed? How should the floor slope--to the center? to one of the walls? There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on how to capture the clay in a floor and still allow the water to drain off.

    OK, now revising some throwing skills, changing how I turn feet, after those process  have been compressing foot with metal rib when necessary then applying a sponge touched with a little slip to the turned surface to fill in any scrapes  scratches to enerally make the turned surface of the pot merge with the rest of the outside of the pot. How are you all finishing the pot at this stage?
