: Tuesday , April 24, 2012 Fresh from the Kiln Just unloaded a Bisque load from the kiln . Never as exciting as a glaze but none the less it means glaze coming soon . I have feverishly made a lot of small plates and other slab pieces and now need to make some mugs as I am almost out of inventory . This morning I wedged up 25lbs of clay into 700g . balls for mugs and then prepped all of the bisque ware cleaning up any burrs , highlighting my signature on the bottom of pieces , and waxing . All a bit therapeutic and methodical . nbsp I like the methodical and organized work flow .
