Filed under : Uncategorized Print This Post Water temperatures will dictate what’s happening this weekend . Most of the streams and rivers in central Pennsylvania are starting to drop back to normal after an extened period of rain . Water temps will be key no matter where you are . As the water temps in most rivers are around 60 degrees the smallie fishing could be getting really good . In the colder water hard baits like suspending x-raps were working great . As water temps aproach and continue above sixty , soft plastic baits may be your best best . Heres a quick list of baits you may want to have in your tackle box this : weekend soft jerkbaits like the slug-go or super fluke straight worms like the Yum Dinger and senko baits I think the best bait going this weekend in most central PA waters will be some type of crayfish immitation like a creature baits , Yum Crawbugs , and the trusty tube baits . Pick colors that match the color crayfish in the river your fishing . If the water is stained go to darker colors like
