. Jose Garza's Fishing Blog Florida Summary and being back in Michigan . Wednesday , April 22, 2009, 07:49 PM Posted by Administrator Hello everyone Soooooo , i'm back in Michigan getting ready for another season . I got home from Florida last Friday and I already miss it . Florida was a GREAT experience and i'm looking forward to going back in December . The main purpose of the trip was to establish myself down there . Get to know some people and get to know the lakes a bunch so when I come back in December , I can get things rolling independently . Throughout my stay , I fished about 3-4 days a week and ate up as much knowledge and information I could . I fished on Lake Toho mostly and guys , i'm tellin you its an awesome fishery . I had a blast out there and caught some good fish . This season was a bit challenging for myself and some of the other folks that I met down there because the FWC sprayed the lake and killed a ton of the hydrilla . So in the course of a couple weeks the lake changed dramatically , and I was forced to relearn the lake again . After much time fishing and learning Toho and other area lakes , I started working for a couple of the guides in the area which

Filed under : 2009 Reports Fishing Reports Print This Post Drastically cooling air temperatures and water temperatures along with rapidly rising water was the norm today . It was tough out there any way you slice it We went from 70 degree weather this weekend to 45 degrees today . In the past couple of days , the water temps went from around 50 degrees to 42 degrees I had the day off work so I felt compelled to fish no matter what . A quick start , two smallmouth bass in less than ten minutes , led me to believe this could be a big number day despite the weather . I was wrong , but it certainly wasn’t a bad day . I even managed to land a really nice smallie that was just shy of 19 . inches Times Fished 3:30 p.m . 6:30 . p.m Weather Conditions Air temperature was 46 degrees cloudy , intermittent showers winds out of east about 6 mph Water Conditions 42 degrees down from about 50 degrees Above normal and still rising rapidly Moderately stained , visibility about 4 feet Baits Used Suspending Jerkbait , X-Rap size

It's his first year fishing regularly and ever since he caught this one and a Mother Load of Black Crappie in Fall Creek , he's hooked . Jermaine has been fishing daily ever since this picture was taken while looking for work , due to the decline in the economy . Times are hard this year , so you might as well bring a pole and live bait while your job hunting like Jermaine does . I think we could all use an 8 pound catfish to get our minds off the economy The Bait Barn Indianapolis , Indiana Posted by The Bait Barn at 7:55 PM Labels : Catfish Crappie fall creek Indianapolis live fishing bait 0 comments :
