. Jose Garza's Fishing Blog Florida Summary and being back in Michigan . Wednesday , April 22, 2009, 07:49 PM Posted by Administrator Hello everyone Soooooo , i'm back in Michigan getting ready for another season . I got home from Florida last Friday and I already miss it . Florida was a GREAT experience and i'm looking forward to going back in December . The main purpose of the trip was to establish myself down there . Get to know some people and get to know the lakes a bunch so when I come back in December , I can get things rolling independently . Throughout my stay , I fished about 3-4 days a week and ate up as much knowledge and information I could . I fished on Lake Toho mostly and guys , i'm tellin you its an awesome fishery . I had a blast out there and caught some good fish . This season was a bit challenging for myself and some of the other folks that I met down there because the FWC sprayed the lake and killed a ton of the hydrilla . So in the course of a couple weeks the lake changed dramatically , and I was forced to relearn the lake again . After much time fishing and learning Toho and other area lakes , I started working for a couple of the guides in the area which

In the past couple of days , the water temps went from around 50 degrees to 42 degrees I had the day off work so I felt compelled to fish no matter what . A quick start , two smallmouth bass in less than ten minutes , led me to believe this could be a big number day despite the weather . I was wrong , but it certainly wasn’t a bad day . Updated: 2009-04-17 12:59:59
Home Forum Tackle Shop Carp Fishing Blog A Community for Carpers Apr 17 Chad Lakes tickets on April 17th , 2009 Source Due to the number of anglers asking to fish at Chad Lakes’ Home Pool for 24- and 48-hour sessions , owner Dave Ayres has decided to introduce 24- and 48-hour tickets . Regular readers will already be aware that Dave opened the famous lake to all at the beginning of March after running it as an exclusive syndicate since he took control more than five years ago . At the time it was decided to open it to a four-night midweek ticket running from Monday to Friday and another covering the weekend from Friday to Monday . Dave told Carp-Talk : Due to the demand in requests from people not being able to commit enough time to fish our three- or four-night sessions , Home Pool is now bookable in blocks of 24 hours . These blocks will need to commence on a Monday or Friday and are bookable no more than seven days in advance at 50 per night . Home Pool is of course famous for its big mirror known as Black Eye , which this year looks certain to top 55lb . It also contains a fantastic head of thirties and at least one other forty . Anglers get use of the on-site facilities
