Clear "May" Return

Brad Stone of the New York Times reports that a Bay Area investor wants to bring the Clear registered traveler program back to those frequent travelers who want preferred status to get through the security lines faster.
As a former Clear member I'm thrilled to hear the news. Now, making it a reality is another matter, but the Post Steve Brill era of Clear, and a different administration in Washington D.C. may actually give this revitalized startup another chance to make it.

The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that in the U.S. in 2007, only 18% of electronic waste was collected for recycling and a full 82%, or 1.84 million tons, was disposed of, primarily in landfills.
With these types of statistics, we feel an obligation to do our part to help curb e-waste while at the same time promoting the efficient use of technology to help social benefit organizations most effectively meet their missions.
