<summary>NZL had only 2 entries at the 2012 Commonwealth Championships held in Cardiff, Wales in late January, but achieved a 100% success rate.
Jason Koster (CAN CA) took out the -100kg title, and Moira de Villiers (NJC AK) won the -70kg category. Both now continue competing and training in Europe in an attempt to gain Olympic qualifying points.</summary>
