Medtech Week Recap: Czech Republic to Establish Biotechnology Centre near Prague

Last week, the Education Ministry of the Czech Republic approved the establishment of the Biotechnology and Biomedicine Centre (Biocev), to be built near Prague. The project is a collaboration between the Czech Science Academy and Prague’s Charles University and will focus on the development of drugs, diagnostics, tissue engineering and natural antibiotics.
