• The Useless Healthcare Summit

    Updated: 2010-02-25 18:43:14
Obama is taking up most of the time and attempting to portray a Republican buy-in to content. Only a couple of Republicans have done a good job promoting the free market. The Republicans have given in to so many past regulations that they are in a hypocritical position -- they should be defending free market principles, but they don't have the standing to do that, so they're left with saying we can't afford it and that it regulates too much -- weak, but better than nothing, I suppose.

http://liveshots.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/02/22/gates-and-mullen-brief-on-afghanistan/ This war is lingering on to the point of absurdity. If I believed the administration has a reasonable plan and our nation is threatened by Afghanistan, I'd be all in -- I'm not a dove when war is necessary. I don't believe this is necessary - I believe it's 90% political, and the lives of our soldiers, and lives of innocent civilians, re far too precious for a political war. I can't believe more people aren't loudly calling for an end to this war that is now going on 9 years. It's surreal as a safe witness-- t's all too real to those fighting.
