• The Bottom Line

    Updated: 2009-11-29 23:04:46
http://blogs.abcnews.com/george/2009/11/global-warming-partisan-divide.html The bottom line is that there is no evidence that man is causing environmental problems which are threatening the globe, so it makes no sense to create legislation which will harm business and increase unemployment. That's the bottom line.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/27/nyregion/27budget.html?partner=rss&emc=rss NY is symbolic of our national problem of tax and spend. At some point, the piper demands payment. Will NY pass the debt into the future? If it does, it's only delaying disaster and possibly making atters worse, because its credit will be shot. The same holds true for the nation. At least people in New York can flee to another state, but how many of us can flee to another country?

For some time, it looked like Republicans were more persuasive liars than their counterparts in DC. Visions of Islamic [...]

Way back in 2006 (and prior to that at my old site), I raised a question of how a libertarian society deals with children.
